Eating twelve grapes at midnight on New Year’s Eve is a tradition in Spain, symbolizing a year of prosperity. Maybe it’s more of a superstition, but I’m not taking any chances this year! Eat one for each stroke of midnight. The twelve grapes are linked to the Puerta del Sol tower clock in Madrid, where the custom started.
