Dr. Phil Goode

Dr. Phil Goode is a native San Diegan having graduated from Mt. Miguel High School. He carries a passion and vast knowledge for the music of the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s and was appointed a doctorate of Top 40 Musicology by Dave Mason while working at KOOL 95.7. His love for music, sports and San Diego are very prevalent in his on and off air personality.
Having grown up in San Diego, Phil was influenced by some of the area’s great on-air personalities like Shotgun Tom Kelly, Gene Knight and Rich ‘Brother’ Robbin. He can also be found at Petco Park covering the Padres for AP Radio & Metro Networks. Among his previous ventures has been KOOL 99.3 & 101.5 KGB as well as Fox Sports Radio.
